How I can open my documents folder password protected after I made my old hard drive into a slave hard drive?
A couple of weeks my computer with Windows XP, crashed on me and refused to boot. The operating system basically died on me and the boys could not technology understand what was wrong with her. We decided to make the old hard drive a slave to copy back all my files before reformatting the drive. However, when I try to enter My Documents, my access is denied. Since the slave drive I can not access my account and that windows is now running on the primary drive. How I can recover files that are saved in the My Documents folder?
1) Was the old XP user password protected? If so … evidence to establish its new user password in Windows XP that is the same and then try to access the files.
